Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for her role as the main character in TV shows such as The West Wing 'In Plain Sight,' and Loaded.' In addition to her roles in films that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack was born to an ice-cream parlor owner and a clinical psychologist. Her family has no connections to the entertainment industry. After her parents divorced in 1990, she was enrolled at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and earned a BA in Comparative Arts. Her career began at 12 years old when she was a part of the stage production of 'Amahl and the Night Visitors which was a Christmas-themed operetta. In the course of her work in theatre, McCormack eventually gained roles for both the film and television. McCormack has become one of Hollywood's best actors. McCormack has three daughters along and a husband who is a producer/director Michael Morris.
